Everllence Zurich has designed and brought to market hermetically sealed compression units equipped with an integrated multimegawatt electric high-speed motor. To further advance this high-tech product, we are looking for new talent to join our team.
We Can Offer You the Following Tasks
- Technical Development Responsibility: Develop and optimize electrical machines for demanding industrial applications, focusing specifically on high-speed electrical motors, covering the complete development lifecycle from concept to validation.
- Analysis and Simulation: Conduct, analyze, and validate electromagnetic and electrical calculations using both analytical methods and simulation-based approaches.
- Cutting Edge Development, Research, and Innovation: Initiate and contribute to research and development projects, including support in securing internal and external funding, and collaborate with research partners as applicable.
- Testing and Validation On Site: Support and execute testing and experimental validation of electrical machines and their components, interpreting test data and correlating it with simulation and calculation models.
- Product and Process Maturity: Actively contribute to design reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the product development process.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Opportunities: Work closely within multidisciplinary research and development teams, including development, testing, and customer project execution.
- Technical Consulting and Knowledge Transfer: Provide technical consulting to other business units on electrical engineering topics, facilitating cross-site and cross-product collaboration.
You Can Help Us with These Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
- Professional Experience: Ideally, 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in R&D or industrialization environments. Experience collaborating with external partners, suppliers, or academic institutions is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of the development, industrialization, and verification of electrical machines, considering the full product lifecycle. Familiarity with electromagnetic calculations, including analytical methods and FEM-based simulations, is essential.
- Practical and Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to blend hands-on testing and manufacturing knowledge with analytical skills in calculation, analysis, and technical documentation.
- Project Experience: Experience in contributing to or leading cross-organizational development projects, with an awareness of cost, quality, and time constraints.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong team-oriented communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
