Job Description

The Development Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Developing technical concepts and innovative product and system solutions in the field of electrical connectivity, based on market requirements.
  • Designing and developing plastic and stamped components.
  • Analyzing and evaluating product concepts and developments in terms of functionality, feasibility, costs, and patent compliance.
  • Defining, monitoring, and assessing the laboratory tests required for the validation of series production.
  • Managing the complete lifecycle of developed products.
  • Collaborating closely with our headquarters in Germany.

What We Expect

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent training.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the properties of plastic and metal materials.
  • Proficiency in PDM and CAD-3D systems (for example, Siemens Teamcenter and NX).
  • Good knowledge of English (B2 level), French (B2 level), and German (B2 level).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • An analytical, structured, and independent working method.
  • Availability for business travel.
