Ärztekasse develops innovative software solutions for healthcare professionals, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of medical practices and patient billing. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future aesthetic and functional aspects of our products.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated UX Designer who is passionate about elevating the user experience of our offerings to meet modern standards. This position provides an exciting opportunity to influence design and usability across our product line.

Your Role

Our primary clients are B2B professionals who prioritize efficiency and speed in their workflows. Your design will need to facilitate quick interaction, minimizing unnecessary confirmations and streamlining data presentation. Interaction patterns must be standardized to enhance navigation without causing user confusion. We aim to create an elegant yet modern and intuitive system that is efficient and straightforward.

Main Tasks

• Design user-friendly and mobile-compatible web applications (progressive and hybrid apps).
• Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, clickable prototypes, and visual designs.
• Develop UI layouts for web applications and native apps, maintaining our design system.
• Visual design of concepts for various devices.
• Conduct research and benchmarking of current user experiences.
• Design and implement usability tests and A/B testing.
• Collaborate within an agile Scrum team alongside Product Owners, Business Analysts, and both Backend and Frontend developers.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in designing and implementing web applications.
• Experience in mobile design is a plus.
• Strong visual skills complemented by interaction design expertise.
• Ability to conceptualize and execute designs with precision.
• Effective communication skills across teams and roles.
• Experience working in dynamic, interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma).
• Good knowledge of web technologies is advantageous.
• Proficient in both German and English; knowledge of French is a significant plus.
