Job Responsibilities

  • Technical Contribution: Design turbomachinery components, including drawings, according to specifications and standard processes. Contribute to design reviews and design verification; modify designs as necessary.
  • Documentation: Create precise documentation for the correct implementation of components by product divisions.
  • Planning & Control: Follow work plans for tasks in your area of responsibility and ensure quality deliverables are completed on time.
  • Technical Coordination & Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate communication with various internal teams regarding specific project design assignments or meetings.
  • Processes and Tools: Utilize standard processes and tools; assist in developing new processes and tools for technical solutions.

Your Background

  • Completed apprenticeship in construction/design engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in the field of mechanical design.
  • Experience in creating technical documentation.
  • Experience in the design and layout process of thermal turbomachinery components is a plus.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD/CAE design tools (preferably CATIAV5, V6/Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE).
  • Experience in macro programming or creating parametric CAD models is a plus.
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art ERP systems (preferably SAP).
  • Taking initiative and responsibility, with a precise and open-minded personality.
  • Good time management skills and a self-motivated working style.
  • Fluency in German and English.
