Job Opportunity: Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)

Based in north-western Switzerland, Aero Group is a well-established EASA Part-CAMO organization, holding ratings for piston and turbine airplanes, as well as piston and turbine helicopters, including electrical and avionics capabilities. Main Responsibilities

  • Establishment and follow-up of maintenance policy and program, submission to FOCA for approval.
  • Planning and follow-up of Line and Base maintenance.
  • Work planning, issuing work-orders, and coordinating resources to support the CAMO work program.
  • Carrying out all maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance contract.
  • Conducting technical follow-up and analysis of the Aircraft Technical Log.
  • Verification of work reports, technical records, and aircraft release to service from contracted organizations.
  • Verification of modifications and repairs to ensure compliance with approved standards.
  • Implementation and tracking of Airworthiness Directives, maintaining continuing airworthiness records.
  • Managing the operator's aircraft optional modification embodiment policy and defect rectification processes.
  • Monitoring and updating the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and submitting proposed amendments to FOCA.
  • Communicating with internal and external partners on matters required by the operator to maintain and build customer relationships.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with contracted Part-145 and Flight Ops.
  • Assisting the NPCA with the evaluation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Safety Information Letters.
  • Executing “Aviation Design Project” orders when required.
  • Assisting the NPCA and Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) with internal audits and reviews of all CAMO processes according to Part-145 maintenance providers’ Manuals of Operations and CAME.
  • Ability to navigate and comprehend company documents, aircraft manufacturer manuals, and EASA regulations.

Requirements

  • Ideally previous experience in a similar position, with at least 5 years in maintenance control activities; or 2 years in maintenance control activities if you hold or have held:
    • A maintenance certification license in category B1, B2, or C; or
    • A license equivalent to a license in category B1, B2, or C.
  • Knowledge in the aviation field.
  • Technical education.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools and strong IT skills.
  • Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record and extract from the debt collection register certificates.
  • Fluent in French and English; German or other European languages is a plus.
  • Strong management skills with natural leadership qualities; reliability, accuracy, and a willingness to accept responsibility.
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland; must be established in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
