Based in north-western Switzerland, Aero Group is a well-established EASA Part-CAMO organization, holding ratings for piston and turbine airplanes as well as piston and turbine helicopters, including electrical and avionics capabilities. Position: Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)
Main Responsibilities:
- Establishment and follow-up of maintenance policy and program, submission to FOCA for approval.
- Planning and oversight of Line and Base maintenance.
- Work planning, issuing work orders, and coordination of resources for the CAMO work program.
- Execution of all maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance contract.
- Technical follow-up and analysis of Aircraft Technical Logs.
- Verification of work reports, technical records, and aircraft release to service from contracted organizations.
- Verification of modifications and repairs performed to an approved standard.
- Implementation and monitoring of Airworthiness Directives, along with maintaining continuing airworthiness records.
- Management of operator’s aircraft optional modification embodiment policy and defect rectification, including follow-up of MEL/HIL.
- Monitoring and amending the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and submitting proposed amendments to FOCA.
- Communication with internal and external partners on matters required by the Operator, while building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Coordination of maintenance with contracted Part-145 and Flight Ops for all maintenance activities.
- Assistance to the NPCA in evaluating Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Safety Information Letters (SILs).
- Execution of “Aviation Design Project” orders as required.
- Support for internal auditing processes and reviews of all CAMO procedures in accordance with Part-145 maintenance providers’ MOE and CAME.
- Ability to navigate and comprehend company manuals, aircraft manufacturer documentation, and EASA regulations.
Requirements:
- Ideally previous experience in a similar position with at least 5 years’ experience in maintenance control activities; or 2 years’ experience, provided the candidate holds or has held:
- A maintenance certification license in category B1, B2, or C;
- Or a license equivalent to B1, B2, or C categories.
- Knowledge in the aviation field.
- Technical education pertinent to the role.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools with strong IT skills.
- Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record and certificates from the debt collection register.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in German or other European languages is a plus.
- Strong management skills with natural leadership; reliability, accuracy, and a willingness to accept responsibility.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland; established in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
