Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and monitor maintenance policy and program, submitting to FOCA for approval.
- Plan and oversee Line and Base maintenance activities.
- Coordinate resources for the CAMO work program through effective work planning and issuing work-orders.
- Execute all maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance contracts.
- Provide technical follow-up and analyze Aircraft Technical Logs.
- Verify work reports and technical records, ensuring aircraft release to service from contracted organizations.
- Ensure modifications and repairs meet approved standards.
- Implement and track Airworthiness Directives and maintain continuing airworthiness records.
- Adhere to the operator’s policy regarding optional aircraft modifications, including defect rectification and follow-up on MEL/HIL.
- Monitor and amend the CAME while submitting proposed amendments to FOCA.
- Engage with internal and external partners to address Operator requirements and foster strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate maintenance with contracted Part-145 and Flight Operations for all maintenance activities.
- Assist the NPCA in evaluating ADs, SBs, and SILs.
- Execute “Aviation Design Project” orders as needed.
- Support internal auditing and review all CAMO processes in collaboration with the NPCA and Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM).
- Navigate and comprehend company, aircraft manufacturer manuals, and EASA regulations effectively.
Requirements:
- Ideally, previous experience in a similar position with at least 5 years in maintenance control activities; or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance control, provided the candidate holds or has held:
- A maintenance certification license in categories B1, B2, or C;
- Or a license that is equivalent to a license in categories B1, B2, or C.
- Knowledge in the aviation field.
- Technical education.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools and excellent IT skills.
- Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record and an extract from the debt collection register certificates.
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in German or other European languages is a plus.
- Strong management skills with inherent leadership qualities; reliability, accuracy, and a willingness to take responsibility.
- Eligible to work in Switzerland; established in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
