Job Opportunity: Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)
Based in north-western Switzerland, Aero Group is a well-established EASA Part-CAMO organisation, holding ratings for both piston and turbine airplanes, as well as for piston and turbine helicopters, including electrical and avionics capabilities. We are currently seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA). This role is essential in achieving the goals and objectives of our department.
Main Responsibilities
- Establishment and follow up of maintenance policy and program, followed by submission to FOCA for approval.
- Planning and oversight of Line and Base maintenance.
- Work planning, issuing work-orders, and coordinating resources for the CAMO work program.
- Carrying out all maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance contract.
- Technical follow-up and analysis of Aircraft Technical Logs.
- Verification of work reports, technical records, and aircraft release to service from contracted organizations.
- Verification of modifications and repairs to ensure performance meets approved standards.
- Embodiment and status of Airworthiness Directives, as well as retention of continuing airworthiness records.
- Implementation of the operator’s aircraft optional modification policy.
- Defect rectification and follow-up of MEL / HIL.
- Monitoring and amending the CAME, along with submissions of proposed amendments to FOCA.
- Communication with internal and external partners on matters required by the Operator, while maintaining and building customer relationships.
- Maintenance coordination with contracted Part-145 and Flight Ops for all maintenance activities.
- Assisting the NPCA in evaluation of ADs, SBs, SILs.
- Execution of “Aviation Design Project” orders as needed.
- Assisting the NPCA and CMM (Compliance Monitoring Manager) with internal auditing and reviewing all CAMO processes in accordance with Part-145 maintenance providers’ MOE and CAME.
- Navigation and comprehension of company, aircraft manufacturer manuals, and EASA regulations.
Requirements
- Ideally, previous experience in a similar position with at least 5 years in maintenance control activities; or 2 years’ experience in maintenance control activities, provided the candidate holds or has held:
- A maintenance certification license in category B1, B2, or C; or
- A license equivalent to a license in category B1, B2, or C.
- Knowledge in the aviation field.
- Technical education.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools and good IT skills.
- Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record & extract from the debt collection register certificates.
- Proficiency in French and English; fluency in German or other European languages is a plus.
- Strong management skills with a natural leadership quality; reliability, accuracy, and willingness to accept responsibility.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland; residing in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
