Based in north-western Switzerland, Aero Group is a well-established EASA Part-CAMO organization, holding ratings for both piston and turbine airplanes, as well as piston and turbine helicopters, which include electrical and avionics capabilities. We are dedicated to providing our customers with demonstrated craftsmanship while fulfilling current regulations in the field of Initial and Continuing Airworthiness. We are currently seeking a:
Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and monitor maintenance policy and program, submitting to FOCA for approval.
- Plan and oversee Line and Base maintenance activities.
- Coordinate resources to align with the CAMO work program through effective work planning and issuing work-orders.
- Conduct all maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance contract.
- Perform technical follow-up and analysis of the Aircraft Technical Log.
- Verify work reports, technical records, and aircraft release to service from contracted organizations.
- Ensure modifications and repairs are performed to an approved standard.
- Implement Airworthiness Directives and maintain continuity of airworthiness records.
- Manage the operator’s aircraft optional modification embodiment policy, including defect rectification and follow-up of MEL/HIL.
- Monitor and amend the CAME and submit proposed amendments to FOCA.
- Communicate with internal and external partners as required by the Operator to maintain and build customer relationships.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with contracted Part-145 and Flight Ops.
- Assist the NPCA in evaluating ADs, SBs, and SILs.
- Execute “Aviation Design Project” orders when necessary.
- Support the NPCA and CMM (Compliance Monitoring Manager) with internal auditing and reviews of all CAMO processes in accordance with Part-145 maintenance providers’ MOE and CAME.
- Demonstrate the ability to navigate and comprehend company, aircraft manufacturer manuals, and EASA regulations.
Requirements:
- Ideally prior experience in a similar position with at least 5 years in maintenance control activities, or 2 years if holding a maintenance certification license in category B1, B2, or C.
- Knowledge of the aviation field.
- Technical education background.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools and strong IT skills.
- Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record and extract from debt collection register certificates.
- Proficiency in French and English; fluency in German or other European languages is a plus.
- Strong management skills with natural leadership qualities; reliability, accuracy, and willingness to accept responsibility.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland; established in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
