Join Our Team as a Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA)

Based in north-western Switzerland, Aero Group is a well-established EASA Part-CAMO organization, holding ratings for both piston and turbine airplanes and helicopters, including capabilities in electrical and avionics. We are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and ensuring compliance with current regulations in the realm of Initial and Continuing Airworthiness.

As we work towards achieving our departmental goals, we are currently seeking a Deputy Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (DNPCA) to join our dynamic team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and monitor maintenance policy and program, submitting to FOCA for approval.
  • Plan and oversee Line and Base maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate resources within the CAMO work program, including work planning and issuance of work orders.
  • Execute all maintenance activities in compliance with the maintenance contract.
  • Conduct technical follow-up and analysis of Aircraft Technical Logs.
  • Verify work reports, technical records, and aircraft release to service from contracted organizations.
  • Ensure compliance with modifications and repairs to approved standards.
  • Implement and maintain Airworthiness Directives and keep ongoing airworthiness records.
  • Manage operator aircraft optional modification policies and defect rectification, including follow-up on MEL/HIL.
  • Monitor and amend the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), submitting proposed amendments to FOCA.
  • Communicate with internal and external partners as required by the operator and foster customer relationships.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with contracted Part-145 organizations and flight operations.
  • Assist the NPCA in evaluating Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Safety Information Letters.
  • Execute “Aviation Design Project” orders as necessary.
  • Support the NPCA and Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) in internal audits and review all CAMO processes to align with Part-145 maintenance provider's MOE and CAME.
  • Navigate and comprehend company manuals, aircraft manufacturer regulations, and EASA regulations.

Requirements

  • Ideally, previous experience in a similar role with at least 5 years in maintenance control activities, or 2 years in maintenance control activities with a maintenance certification license in category B1, B2, or C.
  • A strong knowledge of the aviation field.
  • Technical education background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and strong IT skills.
  • Excellent reputation with a clean criminal record and certificate from the debt collection register.
  • Proficiency in French and English; fluency in German or other European languages is a bonus.
  • Strong management skills with natural leadership qualities; reliable, accurate, and willing to accept responsibility.
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland; established in Switzerland or willing to relocate to the Neuchâtel region.
