Deputy Housemaster / Deputy Housemistress

Collège Alpin Beau-Soleil SA - March 16, 2026

Your Profile

Step into a role where every day brings connection, challenge, and the chance to shape lives. At Collège Beau Soleil, boarding is more than a place to sleep—it’s where friendships are forged, confidence grows, and unforgettable moments unfold. Our boarding houses are vibrant, welcoming communities where students feel supported and inspired.

As Deputy Housemaster / Deputy Housemistress, you will work closely with the Housemaster or Housemistress to help lead a home built on warmth, structure, and purpose. You will set the tone for daily life, offering guidance, encouragement, and care—whether during morning routines, weekend activities, or quiet evening check-ins.

In the absence of the Housemaster or Housemistress, you will take responsibility for the smooth running of the house, ensuring that every student in your care feels heard, respected, and empowered.

This is a people-focused role where you will act as a mentor, role model, and steady presence during a formative chapter in young people’s lives—personally, socially, and emotionally. The position combines pastoral leadership with a reduced teaching timetable and active involvement in the co-curricular life of the school, from creative projects to alpine adventures.

We are seeking an empathetic, committed, and collaborative professional who thrives in a boarding environment and is passionate about supporting young people as they grow into confident, kind, and resilient individuals.

  • Gain experience and skills that will facilitate a future career in boarding education.
  • Develop and share good practices based on your skills and experiences.
  • Promote the wider aspirations and values of the school.
  • Teach a limited timetable.
  • Support the life of the school beyond the classroom, actively participating in weekend activities and other trips as appropriate.

  • A clear understanding of the complex, demanding environment of an international boarding school.
  • Ambitious for themselves, their students, and their team.
