Deputy Housemaster / Deputy Housemistress

Collège Alpin Beau-Soleil SA - July 9, 2025

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Beau Soleil, we believe that actions speak louder than words. This philosophy is at the core of everything we do, both for our staff and our students. We are a vibrant community that champions the power of action, engagement, and participation, both inside and outside the classroom.

Our unique holistic education is anchored in four core values: Respect, Responsibility, Ambition, and Determination. These values create a framework for community life among our diverse international student body, which hails from over fifty different countries, each with unique academic backgrounds and aspirations.

With curricular programs offered in both English and French, our students graduate with either an IB or Advanced Studies Diploma. The small class sizes within this framework promote flexibility, allowing our dedicated staff the freedom to introduce innovative ideas and practices.

OUR COMMUNITY

Nestled in the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon, our location provides an enviable lifestyle. Enjoy skiing in the winter months and a plethora of outdoor activities throughout the year. Cultural adventures in Montreux, Lausanne, and Geneva are just a stone’s throw away, offering endless inspiration.

The Beau Soleil campus is an inspiring environment equipped with exceptional facilities. Our continuous campus development and maintenance program ensures that both students and staff thrive in surroundings that they can be proud of.

YOUR PROFILE

Step into a role where each day brings connections, challenges, and the opportunity to shape young lives. At Collège Beau Soleil, boarding is more than just a place to sleep; it’s a nurturing environment where friendships blossom, confidence flourishes, and unforgettable memories are created. As Deputy Housemistress, you’ll be central to this transformative experience.

Collaborating closely with the Housemistress, you’ll help foster a warm, structured, and purposeful home environment. You’ll play a crucial role in setting the tone for daily life, providing guidance, encouragement, and care during morning routines, weekend activities, and evening check-ins. During the Housemistress's absences, you will step in to ensure the house runs smoothly, making sure every girl in your care feels heard, valued, and empowered.

This role invites you to be a mentor, a role model, and a steady presence during this pivotal life chapter, shaping students personally, socially, and emotionally. It’s a hands-on, people-focused position, where no two days are alike. You will build strong relationships with students, families, and staff, ensuring that pastoral support and academic progress go hand in hand. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to bring your enthusiasm into the classroom, with a reduced teaching load, while actively engaging in our co-curricular life—ranging from creative workshops to alpine adventures.

If you lead with empathy, communicate clearly, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to welcome you to our community. Your passion for helping young people develop into confident, kind, and resilient individuals will resonate strongly here.
