Position Available: Deputy Head of Metal Construction

As our long-serving department head prepares for retirement, we are seeking a skilled individual for the pivotal role of Deputy Head of Metal Construction. In this versatile position, you will oversee challenging metal construction projects, guiding them from initial planning through to execution.

You will collaborate closely with the department head, the managing director, and a motivated team to ensure smooth project progression. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and constructing projects using AutoCAD
• Creating production documents
• Procuring materials
• Coordinating project schedules with architects, clients, and trade partners
• Conducting site measurements and maintaining direct contact with customers

Your reputation for quality and reliability will be instrumental in this role.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

• Completed training as a metal construction designer EFZ or a metal construction worker EFZ
• Further qualifications as a master metalworker, workshop manager, project manager, or similar
• Experience in project management and proficiency in CAD
• Strong skills in MS Office
• Very good German language proficiency
