Our solutions are utilized by clients in over 100 countries, spanning various manufacturing sectors including plastics, electronics, and conversion industries.
From our office near Stauffacher Square in Zurich, the Spur Insights Data Science team collaborates closely with industrial clients worldwide. As a member of our international team of Data Scientists, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement cutting-edge Data Science algorithms for machine data.
Your Role
You will concentrate on designing, building, and deploying Large Language Model (LLM)–based solutions that integrate machine data, operator expertise, and industrial processes.
Your Responsibilities include:
- Developing Agentic-LLM solutions to capture, structure, and analyze machine documentation, operator input, and historical service data.
- Building AI-driven self-diagnostic and advisory systems to detect wear and tear, identify impending mechanical issues, and optimize machine settings.
- Designing natural language interfaces and reasoning layers that assist machine operators in troubleshooting, quality control, and energy efficiency decisions.
- Fine-tuning, evaluating, and integrating LLMs for various industrial use cases, with an emphasis on accuracy, robustness, and explainability.
- Collaborating closely with clients to understand machine behavior, data availability, and operational constraints, translating these insights into scalable AI solutions.
You will gain hands-on experience throughout the entire lifecycle, from data exploration and model development to deployment and iteration in real industrial environments.
What We Are Looking For:
- Candidates with a strong foundation in Data Science, particularly focused on generative AI and LLM-based systems.
- Proficiency in Data Science-centric languages and environments such as Python, Jupyter, TensorFlow, or Matlab.
- Knowledge of generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
