Key Responsibilities

• Automate data pipelines with optimized Python solutions to enhance operations and analysis.
• Leverage Azure services for data storage, transformation, and deployment.
• Develop workflow automations using Power Automate to support operational and administrative processes.
• Analyze Lufthansa Group (LHG) ground operations data to derive actionable insights.
• Identify and refine data-related requirements from various business and operational stakeholders.
• Support the development of dashboards and visualization tools for operational performance monitoring.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-driven and motivated individual with a strong affinity for airline operations. You should be prepared to support our AQ/GB team in a challenging environment located at ZRH.

• Preferred workload: 100%
• Educational background: University degree with a quantitative focus (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields)
• Technical skills: Strong coding abilities, with applied knowledge of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Python or R)
• Data visualization: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is advantageous
• Cloud computing: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is preferred
• Strategic mindset: Ability to translate analytical insights into actionable commercial value
• Language skills: Excellent spoken and written English; proficiency in German is a plus
