Job Purpose

We are seeking a Data Centre Mission Critical Facilities Architectural Documentation & Standards Specialist to support our architectural and technical teams in the delivery of high-performance, mission-critical projects. This role focuses on producing high-quality architectural documentation, maintaining rigorous drawing and information management standards, and ensuring exceptional accuracy across all project deliverables. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the technical clarity and reliability required in data centre and mission-critical environments, working efficiently under tight deadlines while upholding superior quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Drawing Production (Primary Focus)
    • Produce precise, well-structured drawing packages across concept, design development, tender, and construction phases.
    • Ensure accurate layouts, annotation standards, and graphic clarity in alignment with office documentation protocols.
    • Incorporate data centre–specific spatial, technical, and operational requirements into drawings.
    • Maintain accuracy and consistency when updating drawings throughout design progression.
    • Deliver drawing sets within tight deadlines, ensuring all outputs meet high technical and quality standards.
  • Documentation Standards & Quality Assurance
    • Maintain, implement, and refine company-wide drafting standards, templates, naming conventions, and title blocks.
    • Conduct internal quality reviews to verify compliance, consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
    • Prepare structured documentation packages for design reviews, consultant coordination, and internal meetings.
    • Develop user guides, checklists, and reference materials to support documentation and drafting standards across the team.
  • Digital File Management & Information Structure
    • Organize digital project folders to ensure clear structure, version control, and ease of access.
    • Manage document numbering and revision logs to maintain documentation integrity.
    • Support BIM environments by ensuring files are clean, well-structured, and compliant with office workflows and naming protocols.
  • Coordination Support
    • Support communication and document exchange between architectural, MEP, and specialty consultants.
    • Track drawing updates and ensure all team members and consultants work with the latest project information to maintain coordinated models and drawings.
    • Prepare consolidated drawing packages for key milestones, internal meetings, and coordination sessions.
    • Assist in maintaining alignment between models and drawing sets, particularly for high-density technical environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience producing architectural drawings at a professional level.
  • Hands-on experience working on data centre projects or other mission-critical facilities is essential for this role.
  • Strong ability to deliver accurate, high-quality drawings under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience implementing documentation standards.
  • Excellent communication skills; exceptional fluency in spoken and written English is required, German is beneficial.
