As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a key role in advising SWISS's operations management. You will support ongoing data projects and ad-hoc analysis, gaining insight into how we utilize and enhance the operational data landscape of a global airline.

• Provide valuable data-driven insights supporting decision-making within the SWISS Operations & Steering team
• Create data visualizations, reports, and interactive dashboards
• Develop insightful analyses to help quantify key drivers that optimize SWISS's operational performance
• Contribute to our operational data landscape and support automation initiatives
• Promote data democratization and self-service capabilities across the company
• Collaborate and effectively communicate data insights with various stakeholders from SWISS Operations departments

Requirements

• 100% workload is preferred for this position
• A background in data science and/or data engineering is an advantage
• HF diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s students or graduates in an analytical subject, e.g., data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics or related fields
• Knowledge in SQL coding and proficiency in at least one programming language (R or Python preferred)
• Ability to work independently while being a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills; competency in analysis and management presentations
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Fluent knowledge of English is required; knowledge of German will be an additional asset
