MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The role involves teaching Creative Dance to Primary and Middle School students in grades 5, 6, and 7, with an average of 26 to 28 teaching periods.

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions:

• Replacement from April 28, 2025, to June 30, 2025
• Permanent contract beginning August 14, 2025

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilizing and developing the resources from The Juilliard Creative Classroom to teach dance to G5, G6, and G7 students.
• Inspiring and motivating all students to create and recreate dance in diverse forms.
• Managing a classroom environment that promotes self-discipline and strong organizational skills.

SKILLS / QUALITIES REQUIRED

Qualification

You must hold a university degree in Dance or a related field, along with a valid teaching qualification.

Experience

Successful teaching experience in dance is essential, preferably within an international school setting.

Prior Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess a strong rapport with students and excellent organizational skills. As a native English speaker or equivalent in fluency, you will effectively encourage students' creativity and thoughtful reflections on their dance performances.

Collaboration as part of a team and the ability to meet tight deadlines are also crucial attributes.
