Your Responsibilities
As a cybersecurity professional, you will:
- Engage in real-world applications of cybersecurity practices, focusing on automated and scalable offensive and defensive strategies.
- Implement, manage, and monitor security controls across our diverse cloud environments and on-premise systems.
- Engineer secure solutions while hardening our existing applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into our DevSecOps cycle and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate security workflows using popular scripting and programming languages, while reviewing code to eliminate vulnerabilities before they go live.
- Actively participate in threat hunting, detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities.
- Contribute to security architecting initiatives that strengthen our defensive mechanisms and prevent future threats.
Your Skills
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A higher education degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Recent experience in defensive and/or offensive cybersecurity operations over several years.
- Achievement of industry-recognized certifications is an advantage.
- Software engineering experience with knowledge of agile software development principles.
- Security expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP, version control systems (especially GitHub), and automation skills in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
- An understanding of .NET and Kubernetes environments is advantageous.
- A passion for continuous learning and keeping up with the latest trends, tactics, and technologies in cybersecurity.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- A willingness to challenge the status quo and suggest more efficient, automated, or effective solutions.
- A collaborative spirit and eagerness to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, sharing knowledge and learning from others.
- An openness, authenticity, and a down-to-earth personality that enhances team dynamics.
- Fluency in English is required, with existing German skills or a strong motivation to learn the language with the support of our education programs.
