Our Detect & Respond team operates within Cyber Risk Services, part of Technology and Transformation at Deloitte Switzerland.

How You Can Make an Impact

• As a Cyber Detect & Respond Advisor, collaborate with Deloitte's subject matter experts to help clients prepare for, detect, and respond to cyber threats and attacks.
• Leverage your expertise to assess and improve clients' maturity in cyber defense areas, including security operations and incident response.
• Utilize your in-depth understanding of cyber threats and attack vectors to assist clients in designing robust defense strategies tailored to their specific business environments.
• Conduct thorough research on cyber defense solutions, selecting optimal technologies that align with clients' missions, architectures, and ongoing threat landscapes.
• Design, implement, configure, and/or tune cyber defensive technologies (such as EDR, NDR, and SIEM) and create relevant processes around those technologies.
• Engage in business development initiatives to refine and expand our Detect & Respond offerings while cultivating new client partnerships.
• Commit to continuous professional development by pursuing relevant certifications and actively contributing to the cybersecurity community through knowledge sharing.

Who We Are Looking For

• A passion for cyber security with a desire to help clients navigate and prepare for cyber attacks.
• Subject matter expertise in one or multiple Detect & Respond areas such as Cyber Defense, Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, or Vulnerability Management.
• A curiosity to learn, grow, and contribute to broader risk management and cyber-related topics.
• Awareness of the evolving threat landscape, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
• A drive to grow and assume responsibilities across various aspects of the work.
• Familiarity with technologies such as EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), NDR (Network Detection and Response), SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), and Vulnerability Scanners.
• Hands-on experience in a Security Operations Center, Cyber Defense Center, or Incident Response is a plus.
• Existing credentials or certifications in Cyber Defense, Incident and Crisis Management, or Risk Management (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, CSOC, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer) are advantageous.
• A university degree in a relevant field (minimum Bachelor's, Master's preferred).
• Fluency in English required; fluency in German is a plus.
