Position Overview: Customer Parts Repair Manager
As a Customer Parts Repair Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of customers through the fulfillment of contractual obligations, from parts induction to cash collection. You will also strive to achieve the company’s revenue targets for assigned customers in close coordination with Sales. Developing, retaining, and appropriately expanding customer relationships in line with SR Technics strategies will be key to your success. Additionally, you will support sales activities and initiatives for the assigned accounts, ensuring timely and proactive solutions while managing key performance measures.
Your Tasks
- Manage the repair orders to fulfill contractual obligations in accordance with existing processes (e.g., 3rd party business, customer feedback, teardown process).
- Proactively manage and resolve commercial and technical issues with the support of the internal organization and appropriate tools (e.g., EOR).
- Develop customer business relationships to retain and expand existing business in close coordination with Sales, including customer visits and contract review meetings.
- Manage invoicing activities and monitor accounts receivable for assigned customers.
- Plan, control, and report on order fulfillment in accordance with Customer Agreements.
- Manage internal and external customer agreements.
- Assist in negotiating contract amendments with customers, in coordination with Sales.
- Build strong customer relationships and manage customer feedback (EOR).
- Respond to customer requests and queries in a timely and customer-centric manner.
- Manage customer disputes: monitor account payments, lead cash collection, and escalate as necessary.
- Organize customer visits, including performance review meetings, negotiations for upcoming orders, and clarifications of contractual amendments.
Your Profile
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a solution-oriented approach.
- University Bachelor’s Degree in engineering and/or business administration, with a strong understanding of financial and commercial aspects.
- Technical knowledge of engine parts repair and overhaul processes, including strong knowledge of costing and pricing methodologies within the Engine Parts repair services business field.
- Core competencies in business economics, commercial affairs, and financial modeling.
- Significant experience (3+ years) in customer-related and leadership positions within the MRO Aviation Industry, if possible.
- A strong commercial background with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work under pressure with flexibility, creativity, and innovation.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or German is an asset.
