Job Opportunity: Head of Cultivation (m/f)
We are a recruitment agency established in 1996, with offices in Basel and Zurich, Switzerland. Currently, we are partnering with a leading production company in the CBD cannabis sector to find a motivated and experienced Head of Cultivation (m/f) for an immediate start or by arrangement.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily cultivation activities, including planting, growing, and harvesting.
- Ensure plant health and optimal environmental conditions.
- Manage and supervise cultivation staff.
- Oversee the proper functioning of equipment and tools.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization.
Your Profile
- Initial leadership experience in a production or cultivation environment.
- Ideally, experience as a certified ornamental plant grower (EFZ) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of plant biology, pest management, nutrient management, and related cultivation practices.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and reliable.
