Current Openings: Culinary Chef Instructor

For our Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, located in Le Bouveret, we are seeking a dedicated Culinary Chef Instructor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality programs, and the instructor will engage with a multi-cultural student profile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach kitchen theory and practical classes to students in accordance with our standards.
  • Advise students on menu preparation and culinary techniques.
  • Ensure high-quality food production for both students and staff.
  • Develop and update course material regularly.
  • Maintain proper care and usage of all equipment within the designated kitchen sections.
  • Demonstrate sanitation, cleanliness, and security protocols in the kitchen and storerooms to students.

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognized culinary school (Professional Certificate or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the culinary industry, preferably in renowned restaurants.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in culinary arts.
  • Previous culinary teaching experience within a hospitality school is a strong asset.
  • A creative team player who can thrive in a very international environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, maturity, and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; French is a strong asset.
  • Swiss nationality or a C, B, L, or G permit, or European nationality (CE/AELE).
