At dasteam ag, we are in search of a motivated, technically skilled workshop professional with a craftsmanship background for our client in the Zurich region. We seek someone who prefers a hands-on approach over merely reading plans. This role involves demanding custom vehicle modifications, including welding, carpentry, sawing, gluing, and assembling. Everything we create is tailor-made, crafted with care and precision.
Job Description
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Interior fitting of vehicles for various needs:
- Accessible vehicles for people with disabilities
- Camping vehicles
- Special vehicles for police, fire department, and army
- School buses/minibuses with specially designed seating
- Custom delivery vans
- Working with a variety of materials, including:
- Wood
- Aluminum
- Steel
- Plastic
- Carpet
- Installation tasks such as:
- Seating and safety systems
- Lifts and ramps
- Electric steps and sliding doors
- Stand heaters and heat exchangers
- Minor electrical installations
- Locksmith work
We Expect
- Completed apprenticeship as a Carpenter EFZ, Metalworker EFZ, Bodywork Specialist EFZ, Automotive Mechatronics Engineer EFZ, Agricultural Machinery Mechanic EFZ, or Boat Builder EFZ
- Residing within a maximum of 30 minutes from Dietikon (no traffic congestion)
- Category B driving license
- Very good German language skills (oral and written)
- Interest in a long-term permanent position (100%)
