Role Summary
The Corporate Narrative and Reporting Lead will be instrumental in shaping how Climeworks communicates its strategy, performance, progress, and impact to key audiences. Reporting to the VP of Communications & Branding, this role leads the development of Climeworks’ corporate narrative and messaging strategy, ensuring a clear and compelling story throughout executive communications, thought leadership, corporate channels, and major reporting outputs.
This position operates at the intersection of communications, strategy, and business performance, collaborating closely with teams across Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Technology to present complex information in a clear, credible, and engaging manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Climeworks’ corporate narrative, including positioning and messaging frameworks.
- Develop messaging for key strategic priorities, market developments, partnerships, company milestones, and corporate issues.
- Ensure consistency and clarity in Climeworks’ communications regarding business strategies and progress.
- Lead the development and delivery of the Annual Report, Sustainability Report, and quarterly investor communications.
- Craft a coherent narrative and editorial structure for these reports, ensuring clarity of performance and progress.
- Collaborate with various units and senior leadership teams to gather insights and transform them into high-quality reporting content.
- Manage reporting timelines, content development, and stakeholder reviews from planning through to publication.
- Support the VP of Communications & Branding in creating impactful executive communications, including speeches, articles, and LinkedIn content.
Experience and Skills
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, financial communications, investor relations, journalism, corporate reporting, or sustainability communications.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with an ability to convey complex topics clearly and persuasively.
- Strong experience in developing corporate narratives and strategic messaging.
- Substantial experience contributing to major corporate publications such as annual reports and sustainability documents.
- Comprehensive understanding of business strategy, corporate performance, and stakeholder communications.
- Excellent editorial judgment to distill the most important stories from complex information.
- Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Preferred experience in climate, sustainability, energy, technology, or complex industrial sectors.

Formalities
This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, and requires onsite work at least three days a week. The job title reflects flexibility, allowing you to choose between full-time and part-time based on your needs.
