Specific Requirements

• Technical education or relevant practical experience in a marine environment is advantageous.
• Good administrative skills and efficient use of specialized software, as well as Office 365 solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Occasional travel is expected.
• Strong command of English and German; knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of daily technical operations across the fleet.
• Ensure all ships are well maintained, safe, and sustainable in accordance with company standards and budget.
• Oversee repairs to be carried out quickly and with minimal impact on cruise operations.
• Manage technical stores and inventories effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement in sustainability and technical maintenance in close collaboration with the Director of Technical Maintenance and Repairs.
• Work closely with hotel, nautical, finance, and administrative departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Guarantee compliance with all applicable technical standards and regulations.
• Communicate any technical failures that impact operations, guest experience, or safety promptly and effectively to relevant executive leaders.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to internal and external partners.
• Promote company values and goals by effectively communicating our mission, vision, and expectations.
• Travel regularly to vessels as required.
