Shape Continuing Education at the Intersection of Technology and Finance

The ETH FinsureTech Hub at the Department of Mathematics combines expertise from ETH researchers and professionals in emerging areas such as machine learning, cybersecurity, climate risk, distributed ledger technology, and quantum computing. This expertise is translated into integrative research and educational activities at the master’s and professional levels.

Our programs include the CAS ETH in Machine Learning in Finance & Insurance, along with a growing portfolio of continuing education courses in Quantum Computing, Blockchain, and Risk & Resilience.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Continuing Education Manager to join us immediately or by arrangement for an initial period of 2 years, with the long-term vision of a permanent role. In this multifaceted position, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic development of our educational offerings in collaboration with the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational management of the continuing education offerings at the ETH FinsureTech Hub.
  • Provide administrative support for the CAS ETH in Machine Learning in Finance & Insurance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, speakers, lecturers, and internal ETH departments, as well as other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies.
  • Co-design and implement innovative teaching formats, course offerings, and concepts in a rapidly evolving subject area.

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in education management, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizing and delivering continuing education programs, ideally in an academic or institutional setting.
  • An entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, combined with a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for developing and implementing new ideas and formats.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • Strong service orientation and enjoyment in engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Enthusiasm for the topics at the Hub and an interest in current developments at the intersection of technology and financial services is an advantage.
