About the Role

The Content Marketing Manager – Mass Spectrometry will be responsible for developing content that promotes Genedata Expressionist, our enterprise software for biopharma mass spectrometry data workflows. You will lead the execution of marketing campaigns by collaborating with product management, sales, and customer success teams to gather insights into market needs, understand customer challenges, and identify product value propositions. This information will be transformed into effective messaging and branding strategies that promote Expressionist.

This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, marketing expertise—ideally in the software space—and a strong background in mass spectrometry. As part of an international team, you will simplify complex technical concepts into clear business value and collaborate across functions to produce compelling content for our target audiences. This position reports to the Marketing Project Manager and is located onsite in Basel, Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to demonstrate the impact of Genedata Expressionist in real-world scenarios by translating technical benefits into compelling business value propositions.
• Showcase customer success through engaging webinars, case studies, references, and posters while building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders within the user community.
• Create high-impact marketing collateral, including product presentations, application notes, and customer stories.
• Craft scientific communications such as abstracts and posters that resonate with our audience.
• Develop captivating content for web pages, social media, press releases, and newsletters.

Skills & Experience

• Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
• Prior experience with mass spectrometry in biopharma and familiarity with industry processes and challenges.
• Strong capability to translate scientific solutions into tangible business value.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a proven track record of creating high-quality marketing material for different audiences and channels.
• A high degree of initiative, a commitment to quality work, and a hands-on attitude.
• Exceptional collaboration, networking, and influencing abilities in a cross-functional environment, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in generating engaging content in partnership with creative professionals such as designers, video editors, and digital marketers.
• Fluency in English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
