Position Overview

We are seeking a Consultant with a PhD background in life sciences or pharmaceutical science, who excels at the intersection of science, business, and international cooperation. In this key role, you will provide data-backed strategies to advise clients, particularly focusing on Swiss-Chinese collaborations in the pharma and biotech industries.

  • Advise multinational clients on partnerships, market entry, and research collaborations between Switzerland and China.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and client meetings; translate technical research insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Conduct due diligence and innovation scouting for pharma clients interested in Chinese markets or partnerships.
  • Represent the company in interactions with key stakeholders from the Swiss and Chinese pharma/biotech industry.

What You Bring

  • PhD in Life Sciences or Pharmacy, with strong academic and research credentials.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical research, ideally with exposure to the industry side (R&D, partnerships, or strategy).
  • Demonstrated collaboration or project experience involving Chinese pharma companies or Swiss-Chinese cooperation (e.g., joint ventures, tech transfers, co-developments).
  • Willingness to travel for business between Switzerland and China as needed.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to facilitate communication with Chinese partners and clients.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Comfort in a client-facing, fast-paced consulting environment.

What We Offer

  • A collaborative and inclusive team environment with a strong focus on personal development.
  • High-impact projects at the intersection of science, business, and cross-border innovation.
  • Opportunities to expand your network with top-tier pharma leaders and research institutions in both Switzerland and China.
  • A clear development path and coaching for your consulting career.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
