Job Description

Location: Zurich

Work Pattern Percentage: 80-100%

Deloitte Forensic is one of the largest forensic advisory practices in Switzerland, providing specialized advice across a wide range of industries. Our expertise covers areas such as fraud, anti-bribery, and corruption, anti-money laundering, and regulatory investigations. Much of our work is highly sensitive and may attract regulatory scrutiny and media attention.

We are expanding our forensic practice and are in search of talented, motivated, and innovative practitioners with strong managerial experience in investigations, regulatory inquiries, and disputes. Our team is seeking individuals passionate about developing a career in eDiscovery, technology-driven investigations, and data management. Knowledge discovery from both unstructured and structured data is at the core of our expertise.

While traditional forensic and eDiscovery activities remain central to our operations, we also engage in data management and transformation programs, including M&A-related data activities, data separation, and contract migration. To enhance these workflows, we are investing in GenAI, LLMs, and agentic assistants, ensuring the application of these technologies in a defensible, auditable, and secure manner to improve triage, review, and insight generation.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Be involved in collecting, preserving, and analyzing electronic data to assist investigators and legal counsel in establishing the details surrounding incidents of misconduct.
  • Perform traditional eDiscovery and computer forensics tasks, including evidence collection from devices and cloud sources, processing large volumes of data, analyzing mobile phone logs, and recovering deleted messages.
  • Support Discovery & Data Management workstreams by helping to establish and operate scalable ingestion and processing pipelines, structuring diverse data for analysis, and contributing to data transformation projects.
  • Utilize GenAI and LLM capabilities to accelerate triage, review, and insight generation while maintaining a focus on defensibility, explainability, and secure handling of sensitive material.

Our team will provide you with the opportunity to build a robust global professional network and work on a variety of discovery investigations and data analytics projects. You will receive training in all aspects of our technical disciplines and collaborate with experienced forensic professionals who will mentor you in your career development.

Who We Are Looking For

  • You possess a technical mindset, curiosity, and attention to detail. You thrive on responsibility and can deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • You have solid programming skills, being proficient in at least one general-purpose language (e.g., Python, C#) and one data query language (e.g., T-SQL). Knowledge of Knowledge Graph modeling or semantic search is a plus.
  • You have a practical understanding of NLP, generative AI (including LLMs), and agentic AI, with experience in text classification and prompt engineering being advantageous.
  • A good understanding of common operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Unix, MacOS) is preferred.
  • You are completing or have completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Natural Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with chain-of-custody, data privacy, and model governance principles is desirable, given the sensitive nature of our work.
  • You communicate fluently in English; proficiency in German or French is a significant advantage.

Your Team

Join a diverse, multinational, and highly motivated team that is dedicated to fostering both personal and professional growth. Through our training programs, mentoring, and on-the-job learning, we connect you with colleagues across business lines. You will gain exposure to eDiscovery engagements and data management projects, including data transformation and compliance-related work, while developing skills in emerging GenAI-enabled workflows.
