Company Description

We are seeking a Chief Installer (Gate Construction) for a client in the Zurich Oberland area. Our client is a metal construction firm with approximately 60 employees, operating across four production sectors within the construction industry: general metal construction work, aluminum window shutters, gate construction, and a painting shop. They are in search of a committed and dynamic individual to join their installation team in gate construction. In this forward-thinking company, collaboration and team spirit are highly valued. As part of your installation team, you will work closely with other installers and project managers.

Job Description

You will be responsible for the independent installation of complex garage and site gates according to plans, along with coordinating installation activities on-site in consultation with local construction management, clients, and internal project management. This role includes:

• Repairs on your own gate systems and third-party products.
• Supporting the service department with service and repair work.
• Conducting handover, instruction, and acceptance processes for clients.

We Expect

• Completed vocational training as a metalworker EFZ or extensive experience in the field.
• Experience in the installation of tilt, sliding, and revolving gates.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is advantageous.
• Flair for electrical and control engineering systems.
• Excellent German language skills, both spoken and written.
• Enthusiasm and interest in challenging tasks.
• A driver's license (Category B) is essential; Category BE is a plus.
