Job Opportunity: Consolidation & Reporting Manager
We are seeking a talented Consolidation & Reporting Manager to join our client, an esteemed international company based in Geneva (airport). In this strategic role, you will play a pivotal part in leading the group consolidation process, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting the delivery of high-quality financial information in compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Manage financial accounting and reporting activities under IFRS, Swiss GAAP, and local statutory frameworks.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and oversee the elimination of intragroup transactions.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closings, including balance sheet reviews and multi-currency reconciliations.
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights to management.
- Support external and internal audits while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
- Oversee statutory reporting obligations and liaise with local finance teams.
- Contribute to treasury-related activities, including cash-flow reporting, liquidity monitoring, and foreign exchange exposure analysis.
- Support tax reporting and compliance requirements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements in consolidation, reporting processes, and financial systems.
Profile Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Audit.
- 7-10 years of experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, or audit within an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and exposure to Swiss GAAP.
- Proven experience with consolidation tools such as Magnitude or Hyperion.
- Strong understanding of multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with international stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; French is an advantage.
