Your Mission
- Define, implement, and maintain Configuration Management plans, processes, and procedures in accordance with customer requirements and regulatory standards (e.g., ECSS, EN9100).
- Manage configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
- Maintain configuration baselines and ensure traceability between system requirements, design, manufacturing, testing, and delivery documentation.
- Chair Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and ensure proper documentation of changes.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Project Management to ensure product integrity and compliance.
- Ensure that product structures (BOMs, As-Designed, As-Built, As-Planned) are accurately maintained in PLM/ERP tools (e.g., Teamcenter, SAP).
- Support project reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR, TRR, QR, DRB) by providing configuration and documentation status reports.
- Establish and maintain the connection between CAPA, nonconformity management, and configuration/change management processes across the entire product life cycle to ensure consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Main Tasks
- Receive, control, and process product configuration change requests.
- Coordinate Change Review and Change Control Boards for evaluations and approval.
- Assess technical, schedule, and cost impacts of product changes.
- Verify the implementation and effectiveness of approved configuration changes.
- Monitor and report configuration change performance (KPIs).
- Maintain and improve CM policies, processes, and procedures.
- Deliver training and raise awareness on configuration and change management.
Most Important Outputs
- Preparation of Change Review Board and Change Control Board agendas, facilitation of meetings, and issuance of minutes of meeting (MoM).
- Maintenance and update of product configuration data ensuring full traceability.
- Approval of product Design Packages and Logistic Packages.
- Definition and tracking of product configuration and change management KPIs.
- Development and maintenance of Product Change Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Delivery of training sessions on product configuration and change management processes.
Your Story
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Configuration Management or related areas in aerospace, defense, or complex engineering environments.
- Experience with PLM/ERP tools (e.g., Teamcenter, SAP, ENOVIA).
- Strong understanding of engineering documentation, product structures, and version control principles.
Nice to Haves
- Good knowledge of ECSS-M-ST-40 and ECSS-Q-ST-10 standards.
- Experience in other space companies.
- Proficiency in additional languages (German, French, and Swedish) beyond English is a strong asset.
