Your Role

In this position, you will enhance the algorithms and models of Daedalean's existing product range, improving their accuracy and reliability. Additionally, you will develop and implement new algorithms, expanding the systems' functional capabilities for a broader set of applications and environments.

Your Tasks Will Include the Following:

  • Developing and implementing computer vision algorithms and deep learning models for localization and mapping, object detection and tracking, classification, general image processing, and related functions while analyzing, extending, and improving the existing code base and models.
  • Collaborating with other engineering teams (such as flight testing, hardware, and sensor fusion) to integrate computer vision solutions into prototypes and products.
  • Testing and evaluating the performance, robustness, and reliability of computer vision systems in various conditions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency, which may involve both simulated and real-world environments.

Requirements

  • Excellent programming skills in C++; experience with Rust is a plus.
  • Experience with computer vision systems, ideally covering both classical techniques and deep learning methods.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
  • A Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
