Your Role

Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the algorithms and models of Daedalean's existing product range, improving their accuracy and reliability. In addition, you will develop and implement new algorithms that expand the systems' functional range, making them applicable in a broader spectrum of environments.

Your Tasks Will Include:

  • Developing and implementing computer vision algorithms and deep learning models for various applications, including localization and mapping, object detection and tracking, classification, and general image processing. You will also analyze, extend, and improve the existing codebase and models.
  • Collaborating with other engineering teams (such as flight testing, hardware, and sensor fusion) to integrate computer vision solutions into prototypes and end products.
  • Testing and evaluating the performance, robustness, and reliability of computer vision systems in diverse conditions, ensuring their accuracy and efficiency in both simulated and real-world environments.

Requirements

  • Excellent programming skills in C++ (experience with Rust is a plus).
  • Proven experience with computer vision systems, ideally incorporating both classical techniques and deep learning methods.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
  • A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
