Proclinical is seeking a Compounding Technician to support the preparation of compounded medications in both sterile and non-sterile environments.

Primary Responsibilities

This role involves ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Skills & Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician certification is required.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 regulations.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pharmacists and lead technicians to prepare compounded medications safely and efficiently.
• Accurately compound sterile prescriptions in compliance with USP 795, 797, and 800 guidelines.
• Follow safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment through compounding, maintaining laboratory cleanliness, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Participate in quality control processes and maintain detailed records of all compounding activities.
