Your Mission
As a key player, you will serve as the daily interface between the production and design office. Your role will involve:
- Supporting design and production in developing and optimizing components.
- Providing technical support to various departments and facilitating information transfer necessary for manufacturing tools or parts.
- Testing materials to ensure quality is upheld in composite part manufacturing, and making informed decisions regarding quality issues of non-Class A parts (such as inserts, foams, bodywork parts, etc.).
- Maintaining oversight of manufacturing quality once components are transitioned into production.
- Ensuring that problem-solving processes are efficient and transparent throughout the entire design and manufacturing phases.
- Contributing to projects and participating in the direction and development of composite manufacturing implementations.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, or equivalent qualification/experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with high and autoclave-cured composites.
- Demonstrated expertise and accomplishments across all facets of composite manufacturing, along with a solid understanding of various composite manufacturing methods.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly CATIA V6, and familiarity with standard software packages (e.g., MS Office).
- Excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and responsibility.
- A creative, self-motivated, and open-minded personality, exhibiting high flexibility for working in a shift model (including early and night shifts).
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
