Compliance Manager Recruitment

Gi Life Sciences is seeking a Compliance Manager for an esteemed international pharmaceutical company located in Ticino, Switzerland. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced compliance professional eager to thrive in a dynamic and global environment, playing a critical role in promoting ethics, integrity, and regulatory compliance across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and continuously enhance the company’s Ethics & Compliance framework.
  • Ensure compliance with Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABAC), data privacy, and pharmaceutical industry regulations.
  • Develop, update, and maintain compliance policies, standard operating procedures, and internal processes.
  • Manage third-party due diligence and support compliance monitoring activities.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in internal investigations as needed.
  • Provide compliance guidance to cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access.
  • Facilitate compliant interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organizations (HCOs), and other external stakeholders.
  • Deliver compliance training and contribute to fostering a robust ethical culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a related field (compliance certification is a plus).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Ethics & Compliance within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance, including ABAC, data privacy, and industry codes (e.g., EFPIA, IFPMA, FCPA, UK Bribery Act).
  • Experience in compliance monitoring, internal investigations, policy implementation, and third-party due diligence.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory; proficiency in Italian is considered a strong advantage.
