Join Our Team as an MV Compliance Engineer (m/w/d)

Are you ready to take on new challenges with us in Switzerland? TechFirm Industrial Services is looking for a motivated Product Compliance & Certification Engineer to support our global compliance and certification activities for medium voltage drive products. In this exciting role, you will ensure our products meet international safety and regulatory standards, manage certification projects, and liaise with third-party certification bodies. If you have experience with product safety standards and a solid understanding of EMC compliance, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate product compliance and certification projects with external bodies (e.g., UL, TÜV, CSA).
• Ensure adherence to relevant international standards and directives (e.g., IEC, UL/CSA, CE, EMC).
• Support type testing, product documentation, and technical file creation.
• Review product designs for safety and compliance during development.
• Contribute to risk assessments and support failure mode analysis.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and standard updates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience in product certification or regulatory compliance (preferably for industrial or electrical products).
• Familiarity with international standards and directives (IEC, UL, CE, EMC).
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Fluency in English.
