Job Description

Global Rewards Operations: You will support the operational and analytical execution of Climeworks’ global rewards programs. Collaborating closely with the Director of Compensation & Benefits and HR colleagues, you will ensure our compensation, benefits, and equity programs are well-run, compliant, and effectively communicated, while continuing to evolve alongside Climeworks’ strategic developments.

Compensation Processes: You will conduct salary benchmarking and market analyses, supporting the preparation and coordination of the annual salary review cycle across multiple countries.

Equity Program Administration: You will coordinate the grant and exercise processes of equity-based compensation plans within Climeworks’ equity administration platform, including audits and employee follow-ups.

Bonus Cycle Preparation: You will prepare and calculate the annual bonus cycle, including data validation, eligibility checks, and documentation.

Gender Pay Gap & Reporting: You will drive gender pay gap analyses and related reporting, contributing to transparency, compliance, and internal reviews.

Benefits Management: You will lead the administration, renewal, and continuous improvement of benefit plans across Climeworks’ international entities, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.

Global Mobility Support: You will assist in global mobility and cross-border employment cases, coordinating with tax and mobility advisors to ensure compliant and seamless processes.

Data Quality & Process Improvement: You will prepare compensation, benefits, and equity reports and analyses for HR, Finance, and leadership stakeholders, ensuring high data quality across HR systems and Excel-based tools while contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: You hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: You bring at least 2–3 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or a closely related HR role, ideally with exposure to international or multi-country HR topics and knowledge of Swiss market practices.
  • Rewards Expertise: You have a solid understanding of compensation and benefits principles, including regulatory considerations and relevant market practices.
  • Equity Experience: You possess hands-on experience with equity-based variable compensation, such as employee share options, RSUs, or similar long-term incentive plans.
  • Analytical Skills: You demonstrate strong analytical skills and confidence in working with Excel and HR data.
  • Working Style & Mindset: You work with high attention to detail, bringing a structured, reliable, and organized approach to your tasks. You work independently and possess a strong “can-do” attitude with a pragmatic problem-solving mindset.
  • Communication: You communicate clearly and pragmatically in English, and proficiency in German is a plus.

Formalities

This position is based in Opfikon, Zurich, and we ask that you work onsite at least two days a week.
