Summary

Novartis Pharma Schweiz is responsible for marketing innovative medicines in the international company's important home market. To complement our communications team at the Rotkreuz site, we are looking for a Communications and Patient Advocacy Manager.

In this role, you will lead communication around our therapies and disease areas and manage patient advocacy. This exciting combination allows you to blend your communication expertise with the opportunity to strengthen the voice of patients in the Swiss healthcare system.

Two of your working days will be Wednesday and Friday, while you can choose your working days for the rest of the week. About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will develop communication strategies for our therapeutic areas, defining specific measures and implementing them for various internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • From media releases to social media assets - you will convey our core messages with compelling content across various communication channels.
  • You will grasp complex and scientific content easily and be able to present it in an understandable way.
  • You will oversee our Patient Advocacy activities, building a network with patient organizations and supporting your colleagues with your expertise in patient communication.
  • You will develop strategic measures that allow us to incorporate the patient perspective into our work.

Essential Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • Several years of experience in a communications function.
  • The primary language at Novartis Pharma Schweiz is German, but excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for this position. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • We seek a strong team player who enjoys working with various internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • You should be well organized, able to work independently, and enjoy managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in Patient Advocacy is beneficial but not a requirement.
