Summary

Novartis Pharma Schweiz is responsible for marketing innovative medicines in the company's important home market. To enhance our communications team at the Rotkreuz site, we are seeking a Communications and Patient Advocacy Manager.

In this role, you will lead communication initiatives around our therapies and disease areas while managing patient advocacy. This unique combination allows you to integrate your communication expertise with the opportunity to amplify the voice of patients within the Swiss healthcare system.

Novartis Pharma Switzerland supports you in your individual career planning and rewards good performance accordingly. You can choose between 70% and 80% workload, with Wednesday and Friday being fixed working days and flexible options for the remaining days. About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will develop communication strategies for our therapeutic areas, define specific measures, and implement them for various internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • From media releases to social media assets, you will convey our core messages with compelling content across different communication channels.
  • You will adeptly grasp complex scientific content and present it in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • You will oversee our Patient Advocacy activities, build connectivity with patient organizations, and support your colleagues with your expertise in patient communication.
  • You will develop strategic measures to ensure the patient perspective is included in our work.

Essential Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • Several years of experience in a communications role.
  • Fluency in German is essential; excellent written and spoken English skills are also required. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • A strong team player who enjoys working with a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Well organized, able to work independently, and enthusiastic about managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in Patient Advocacy is beneficial but not mandatory.
