Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Commercial Market Intelligence Manager for High Speed (m/f/d), you will turn insights into impactful strategies. You will lead market and competitor analysis, drive strategic initiatives, and support commercial decision-making across the High Speed division. Your role will encompass guiding business cases, managing license agreements, and owning the High Speed market strategy chapter, merging market intelligence with technical depth.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis and synthesize insights into actionable reports for senior management.
- Manage data platforms such as LCP Delta and GlobalData for High Speed insights.
- Lead the Electric Power Generation (EPG) community to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Initiate and oversee competitor analysis, providing critical competitor intelligence.
- Commercial Insights:
- Support project managers in developing business cases to enhance project commercial outcomes.
- Oversee the SmallTC business case development.
- Conduct competitor pricing analysis and assist with offer creation for the SmallTC initiative.
- Manage the execution of High Speed license agreements in China.
- Governance & Ownership:
- Ensure the relevance and completeness of the PMS (Product Market Strategy) High Speed market chapter.
- Lead strategic commercial projects and initiatives to drive market growth and business value.
- Act as the High Speed contact point for internal market communication.
- Champion sustainability initiatives within the High Speed division.
Your Background
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in Industrial and/or Manufacturing fields.
- 5+ years of proven experience in industrial manufacturing within highly competitive markets.
- Experience in Market Research, Data Analytics, or Commercial Strategy.
- Project Management experience with certifications (PMP, MSP, or equivalent) preferred.
- Problem-solving orientation with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
- Intellectual curiosity, innovative mindset, and accountability for results.
