Commercial Forecasting & Market Analytics Lead (m/f/d)

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our commercial team as a Commercial Forecasting & Market Analytics Lead (m/f/d) and contribute to turning data into strategic business decisions.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Building and maintaining commercial forecasting models using historical data, market intelligence, and lifecycle assumptions.
  • Collaborating with commercial, supply, and finance teams to align assumptions, scenarios, and timelines, delivering consolidated forecasts with clear rationales.
  • Leading forecast review cycles and consolidating inputs for approval.
  • Representing commercial in DRM and cross-functional planning meetings to explain forecasts, assumptions, and risks & opportunities (R&O).
  • Tracking commercial forecast performance, conducting variance analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis to inform strategic and operational decision-making processes.
  • Translating primary and secondary market research, epidemiological data, and channel analytics into actionable insights.
  • Monitoring and analyzing in-market performance, identifying performance gaps, generating insights, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining commercial forecasting dashboards and defining, tracking, and reporting on key forecast KPIs.

About You – Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining commercial forecasting models and KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex market data and business assumptions into actionable forecasts and planning scenarios.
  • Skilled in interpreting data in a business context, identifying challenges and opportunities, and defining the analytical questions and technical approaches required to deliver insights.
  • Expertise in Python, SQL, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, with strong knowledge of forecasting methodologies. Experience with forecasting platforms such as IBM TM1 and D365 is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
