Job Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute combustion-related tasks on-site and off-site for the installed gas turbines fleet (GT36, GT26, AE/V94.3A, AE/V64.3A, AE/V94.2).
- Lead execution of parameters acquisition and combustion tuning both in-person and remotely, as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with counterparts in other Ansaldo offices located in Italy, Switzerland, and Abu Dhabi.
- Develop expertise in thermodynamic performance-related tasks.
- Provide extensive engineering support for Plant Support topics concerning combustion and emissions.
- Ensure all work is performed according to EHS, quality, and scheduling requirements.
- Implement simplifications and lean processes within your area of responsibility.
Candidate Profile
- University degree or background relevant to gas turbines.
- Motivated, passionate, reliable, and goal-oriented.
- Flexible, able to work under pressure, and willing to travel globally (up to 40%, including short-notice trips).
- Professional planning and presentation skills, with good knowledge of MS Office applications and Lotus Notes preferred.
- Excellent command of English, with proficiency in German and/or French preferred; Italian is a strong advantage.
