What is the Opportunity?

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in the production of machined parts within our new CNC workshop. Collaborating closely with the machining workshop manager, you will oversee CNC machines, create CNC programs, manage raw material procurement, ensure quality control, and coordinate overall workshop management.

The position is located in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, which is conveniently accessible by public transport (Tram 10), and includes free car parking.

What is the Role?

• Create CNC programs directly on the machines, implement these programs, and monitor production.
• Work independently with one CNC milling machine and one CNC lathe.
• Support the production of machined parts for our innovation department and new assembly lines by loading and unloading machines.
• Inspect parts post-machining and maintain up-to-date quality reports.
• Manage the workshop, including the supply of raw materials and consumables, as well as machine maintenance.

Does This Sound Like You?

• You possess an education in CNC machining or programming.
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a CNC workshop and programming.
• You are proficient in operating CNC milling and turning machines; experience with MAZAK machines is a plus.
• You are familiar with machining materials such as stainless steel, PP, PE, POM, PVDF, and others.
• You demonstrate self-initiative and creativity; you are flexible and thrive under pressure.
• You have proficient English skills for daily business use; knowledge of German, French, or other languages is a plus.
• You are an EU or Swiss citizen or possess a valid work permit for Switzerland.
