We Are Looking For Someone Who Can:
- Lead the development and execution of technology-driven business strategies to enhance organizational performance and competitive positioning.
- Align cloud-native solutions, AI, and big data initiatives with business objectives to deliver measurable value.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of technological advancements and market demands.
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational practices.
- Innovate and contribute to Development and DevOps processes, setting up optimal cloud solutions including containers, library dependencies, orchestration, and execution pipelines.
Your Team
You will be part of the Firmwide Stress Testing Models within the Firmwide Risk IT at UBS. Our team is composed of pioneering software engineering professionals who apply modern computer science and IT platform management to stakeholders across UBS.
We implement common reusable solutions to ensure risk management operates on the most optimal and scalable framework. Utilizing niche solutions, we are expanding towards in-house built solutions to ensure UBS Risk Management and Control remains competitive.
Your Expertise
- Over 15 years of hands-on experience in software development, ideally within the financial or risk domain.
- Proficiency in Java and Python, with knowledge of cloud-native technologies such as AKS, Databricks, and OpenAI considered a plus.
- Experience with integration technologies including RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and messaging systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, along with an understanding of AI, machine learning, and big data technologies.
- Experience in the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of cloud-native software.
- Ability to build highly responsive and fast-updating applications in Agile and Lean environments.
- Capability to manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, with experience in development on both Windows and Unix environments.
- Understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, with experience in stress testing, scenario generation, risk model development, or model validation.
