We are currently seeking a Cloud Platform and Migration Specialist for our IT Operations area. If you embody initiative and demonstrate commitment, skills, and a passion for your work, this position might be the perfect fit for you.
What You Will Do
- Ensure the continuous evolution and utilization of our cloud platform by the cloud application teams.
- Design architecture and develop cloud infrastructure for new and migrating applications.
- Support and optimize cloud applications regarding cost, resilience, security, and DevOps practices.
- Continuously coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify new needs, ensuring that delivered services meet requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery time.
What You Bring
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering domain.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and operating cloud platform capabilities in FinOps, Security, Compliance, Regulatory, and Resilience for Azure and AWS using tools such as Palo Alto Prisma Cloud, IBM Cloudability, and others.
- At least 7 years of experience in building Azure and AWS cloud applications using IaaS and PaaS services, specifically in AKS/EKS, Azure Function Apps, and more.
- Experience of 7 years or more in migrating applications to Azure, including assessment, architecture design, cut-over and operational support using migration strategies.
- Expertise of at least 7 years in setting up and operating cloud applications, ensuring disaster recovery capability, monitoring, and incident management.
- A minimum of 10 years experience delivering services with offshore and nearshore providers, alongside excellent communication skills to interact effectively with international stakeholders.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus.
