What You Will Do

  • Ensure that our cloud platform continuously evolves and is utilized effectively by cloud application teams.
  • Design the architecture and develop the cloud infrastructure for new and migrating applications.
  • Support the operation and optimize cloud applications focusing on cost, resilience, security, and DevOps.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify new needs and ensure that delivered services align with requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery time.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and operating cloud platform capabilities across FinOps, Security, Compliance, Regulatory, and Resilience for Azure and AWS, utilizing tools such as Palo Alto Prisma Cloud and IBM Cloudability.
  • More than 7 years of experience building Azure & AWS cloud applications using IaaS and PaaS services, particularly AKS/EKS, Azure Functions, API Management, and AWS Lambda.
  • Proven experience in migrating applications to Azure, covering all aspects from initial assessment to operational support.
  • Extensive experience in setting up and operating cloud applications, including backup/restore systems, logging, monitoring, and multi-regional disaster recovery capabilities.
  • At least 10 years of experience delivering services using offshore and nearshore providers with strong communication skills to connect with international stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; proficiency in German is an advantage.
