Clinician Support Agent - Contract - Remote US

Are you looking to play a key role in connecting technicians and healthcare professionals to support better patient outcomes? Proclinical is seeking a Clinician Support Agent to provide essential communication and support between cardiac technicians and external healthcare accounts, including hospitals and clinicians.

Primary Responsibilities

This role focuses on ensuring effective communication of ECG abnormalities, managing clinical case information, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency in medical terminology and prior experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with EKG interpretation.
• Technical skills in case management systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between cardiac technicians and external accounts.
• Communicate ECG abnormalities following physician notification protocols and notify clinical personnel as required.
• Perform follow-ups to gather additional clinical information, such as pacemaker settings and clinician contact details.
• Utilize case management systems to respond, act, and update case statuses effectively.
• Verify and process notification criteria, ensuring completeness of reports.
• Foster collaboration with internal teams and external customers, including hospitals and clinicians.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics related to productivity and case quality.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and Good Clinical Practices.
• Maintain compliance with job-specific proficiency requirements.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Compensation

$18 to $21 per hour.
